Who Does OAH Help?
Organizations
OAH is committed to finding and supporting established, credible, national organizations that are willing to meet the current and emerging needs of America's heroes, especially as new post-war and late-war needs arise. Such organizations will be appropriately vetted to assure sound management practices, efficient resource utilization, and will have a record of nimble, effective response in program design and delivery. Some organizations include:
- The PTSD Foundation
- Impact a Hero
- The Disabled American Veterans
- The Paralyzed Veterans of America
- The Wounded Warrior Project
- The Homes for Heroes
- The IAVA
Grants
OAH is committed to providing targeted funding to solid organizations whose goals align with the OAH mission and who demonstrate a record of performance in meeting identified needs. Multi-year funding with annual performance reviews will be provided through an easy, expeditious process with limited paperwork. Organizations will be encouraged to pre-qualify in order to expedite the funding process. Organizations may initiate funding requests as need is identified. On occasion OAH may also issue requests for funding proposals.
